THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all the hard working people who helped pull off the HUGE Silent Auction at the Spring Fling - Trudy Mershon, Ferin Mershon, Melinda Dean, Lori Osborn, Mary Ann Frazier - I doubt I could possibly name everyone who gave us a helping hand. I'd also like to thank the exhibitors/members who donated some fantastic items that went for big bucks. We didn't have time to do the final tally before I left Williamston this afternoon but I've got my fingers crossed we made the $1,000 I hoped we could earn. Oh, and I have to thank Dan Mershon for keeping me supplied with BLIZZARDS !! A couple of people - not mentioning names - "Stella" - made out like bandits !! Maybe we can have another one next year and we'll let a YOUNG person be in charge......
