There were several new participants. We look forward to having the fun relaxed atmosphere again next year. We hope to have it again in Colfax at Piedmont Saddle Club on Saturday October 12, 2013.
Lucas Hamby addressed the group with the following:
Hi, I’m Lucas Hamby.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the club for supporting the Miniature Horse Youth programs.
I would especially like to thank you for nominating me for the Reece Family Youth Award. I was honored to be nominated by all of you.
I was excited to be called out the winner of this award at this year’s AMHA World Show. I won a check for $125, a custom belt buckle and a nice engraved marble box. They are here along with some of the other awards I was able to win if you’d like to see them.
Again, I’d like to say thank you, and I do appreciate your support of the Youth.
